A rescued fisherman is brought to the bank of the Mekong River in Nakhon Phanom’s That Phanom district.

Three small fishing boats capsized in the middle of the river during a storm on Monday afternoon.

A fisherman drowned in the middle of the Mekong river when three small fishing boats capsized during a violent storm in That Phanom district on Monday afternoon,

Rescuers battled the storm on jetskis in the middle of the river. They rescued two fishermen about 50 meters from the shore and a third about 100m away.
