Thunderbolt Kills Pregnant Cow & Sends Farmer to Hospital

A cow is found dead after a thunderbolt struck in Phimai district of Nakhon Ratchasima on Monday afternoon, May 11.

The farmer said that on Monday morning he went out into the middle of a field to feed  10 cows, about five kilometers from his farmhouse. He was resting under some banana trees while watching his cows grazing in the grass, suddenly the sky started to turn cloudy, followed by rain, and finally, a thunderbolt suddenly struck in the middle of the herd, which killed one of his cows on the spot.

The farmer who was near the herd of cows collapsed and became unconscious. Then he was taken to the local hospital and reported that his B52,000 cow was also pregnant.
