Hot to VERY hot weather in upper Thailand, thundershowers in some areas

Hot to very hot weather with thunderstorms, gusty winds and hail will likely occur in the North, the Northeast, the Central region and the East, the Thailand Meteorological Department forecast today (May 11), as a high-pressure system from China is expected to extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea while southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the area.
