Udon Thani – 6 Cows Killed by a Single Lightning Bolt

Yesterday 6 cows that were taking shelter under a tree from the rain were hit by a lightning bolt killing them all instantly..

Udon Thani’s, Baan Tad District officials were called out to investigate and found the 6 cows lifeless around the tree,  the owner of the cows 59 years old Mr. Saman Srichan was devastated as the value of the cows are estimated at 270,000 baht … 4 of the cows belonged to his relatives..

This is a good lesson to not sit under trees for shelter during thunderstorms…
