Ministry of Education Announced, ” DIGITAL DISTANCE CLASS HAS STARTED”!–VIDEO

Education Minister Nataphol Teepsuwan announced, (in cooperation with the Distance Education Foundation, DLTV, and the National Broadcasting Telecommunications Commission )  is providing distance learning during the Covid-19 situation through 17 free TV channels.

It will cover all grades /l evels of basic Education, Vocational Education, and Non-Formal Education.

It started yesterday on May 18, 2020, and it’s broadcasted  from 08.30 hrs onwards via digital TV box 37 to 53 through a dish Single-band KU-Band system, or solid color dish, all channels from 186 to 202 through the single-dish artificial system, C-Band system or black grating dish, channels 337 to 353 and cable TV channels or IPTV for education in numbers 61 to 77

You can check the class schedule on the DLTV.ac.th website or the DLTV application. In addition, the Ministry of Education There are still measures to assist students in studying through TV. Digital TV teaching for students to receive the most effective education

However, if the situation improves, schools are expected to reopen on 1st July except for those in high-risk zones such as in Bangkok and Phuket, which will remain closed to prevent infections.

Strict measures will be in effect to prevent the spread of COVID-19, such as washing hands regularly, wearing a surgical mask at all times, and maintaining social distance in the classroom.

Also, It has been promised that” No students will be left behind”!  The Education Ministry announced on Monday 18, MAy that it had no intention to burdening parents.
