Nigerians Stranded at Airport to Return Home Soon
Three Nigerian travelers stuck at Suvarnabhumi airport for nearly three months due to country lockdowns brought about by Covid-19 are expected to return home in about two weeks. “They will fly back to their country as soon as the aviation ban is lifted,” Immigration Bureau chief Sompong Chingduang said on Tuesday.
A Facebook post of a stranded Nigerian tourist has been getting a lot of attention lately. “Rasta JarGae” posted that the Nigerian got stuck in the airport when his connecting flight was canceled.
Out of kindness, some of the airline personnel have been helping them with food and change of clothes.
