Train police showcase a young couple carrying “Ice” caught under suspicion of smuggling narcotics.
On May 20th, Train Police in Thammarat Province arrested a young couple in their early 20’s for smuggling ice. The couple was carrying the ice in their suitcase disguised as a young couple traveling from Bang Sue Station to Thung Song Station in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
Officers said they looked suspicious and decided to search their suitcase where they found 4 kg of ice. The man confessed to smuggling drugs many times, he said he hired the girl to come along to look less suspicious.
Police will continue to question the couple hoping to lead to more arrest.
