 Local durian farmers welcome a bumper harvest, an important time throughout areas of Thailand. Unfortunately, some try to take advantage during these times as you are about to see.

While It is Durian Season be careful of some locals tipping the scales adding weight to put more money into their pockets. It’s an art that thieves use at local markets when scaling your produce. Like juggling. Here a person filmed a local durian salesman in action from the back.

Watch carefully as they put their hands on the scale to increase weight. Then, after weighing they cut the durians skin, so you don’t know the real weight. Don’t become a victim of those who like to take advantage of people.
