‘Deputy Minister of Interior’ gave morning glory seeds to 12-year-old children after posting a live video on Facebook. The video showed vegetable plots being eaten by someone’s cows.
12-year-old Wanchana Laicharo was furious when he posted the cows eating his vegetable plots on Facebook. They were morning glory that his family sells to survive. When he posted the video titled “Cows eat morning glory” he hoped to track down the owner of the cows who were responsible for the damage. Instantly the boy became a sensation in the social world.
When Mr. Nipon Bunyamanee, Deputy Minister of Interior saw the viral video, he traveled to the boy’s village in Ban Dan Subdistrict, Songkhla Province. Mr. Niphon asked what the total damage was, and the boy replied ” it was a thousand.” Mr. Niphon then brought the boy many morning glory seeds as well as other kinds of vegetable seeds so the family could re-plant and replace the damaged plots. Also, Mr. Niphon graciously gave the boy 1,000 baht to buy the already eaten morning glory.
