Muay Thai scheduled to return to the ring in June.

The Sports Authority of Thailand is hoping the boxing industry would return to action soon, in a closed venue initially, and get back to normalcy in three phases. The Muay Thai Association and the Sports Authority of Thailand held a meeting on Saturday for more than three hours to review the Covid-19 situation in Thailand, which they agreed is getting better.

As a result They will allow Muay Thai boxing to re-open on June 15 in a controlled environment. There will be 3 phases, the first phase will include the followig at all times: wearing of masks, washing hands frequently, distance of 1-2 metres between people, regularly clean the place, and restrict people in the area. These rules of course do not apply to the actual boxers.
