Shark Attack in Southern Thailand, Young Boy Bitten Scares Villagers – VIDEO
On May 29, 2020, A Facebook post warns people in Muang District Satun of a shark in the water after a child in the village was bitten to a near-fatal wound.
Mueang Satun is the capital district of Satun Province, southern Thailand
12-year-old boy Harraf was sitting on the edge of the pier with his feet dangling in the water. He was drying off from swimming with two of his friends suddenly spotted a jellyfish just beneath the surface of the water. The boys quickly pulled their feet up to avoid getting stung by the jellyfish but a shark bit one of the boy’s feet.
The boy was rushed to the hospital with a dangling foot, he had lost a lot of blood by the time they reached the hospital. But Harraf was okay after receiving 50 stitches.
Mr. Mahmad Namsambilang Mayor of Jebilang District sits second to the back of the boat took a boat trip around the Nam Khem Canal in Ban Jebilang. To make sure that there were no children and other villagers swimming in the area.
