Last night on May 30th Col. Pichit Seka, Chiang Mai, received a report of a robbery taking place in Thongthong from the Mae Chantra gold shop.
The culprit was a man aged between 20-25 years with a slim body and short hair. After the robbery, he ran out of the front door and disappeared on a motorcycle driven by his friend. They have reviewed CCTV footage and are now on the hunt for the two individuals.
The owner of the store said the young robber came twice, once to look at several necklaces, and then returned later to rob them after closing. The gold necklace was estimated to be worth 27,180 baht.
