Businessman sentenced to 4 1/2 years for DUI fatal accident
Mr. Jenphob Wiraphon or Sia Chenphop, a famous 41-year-old businessman who was under the influence of methamphetamines back on March 13, 2016, was finally sentenced after he rear-ended another vehicle. He drove black CLK Benz in the rear of the Ford Fiesta sedan causing it to catch fire and killing 2 students inside.
Both Mr. Krisana Thavorn and Ms. Thanthapat Horsaengchai from a University (MCU) died on the scene while they stopped at a red light. The courts first sentenced him to 6 months in prison but since he cooperated and went to they gave him four years and 6 months sentence. Normally, you would get 6 years for killing another person with the same circumstances, so he should have gotten 12 years total.
