 Jun-2nd,  The case of the death of “A beloved celebrity dog, Chiang Mai University. The dog was a stray dog adopted by Chiang Mai University Students who went missing. Students offered a 60,000 baht reward in hopes of finding Tia but no luck. Tia was found dead after being tossed into the woods beside a road. Later, a surveillance video surfaced showing a man on a motorcycle approaching the dog but no violence was seen.

Watchdog Thailand, based in Chiang Mai, continued to investigate the incident since the dog’s body was found last week on the side of a road.

A Thai animal rights group ‘ Watchdog Thailand”  accused a Chiang Mai police officer of abusing and killing the beloved dog. The police officer denied the allegations and told his story. But after an autopsy was done, the police officers’ story didn’t match.

Yesterday, Chiang Mai University student surrendered to the police and admitted he had part of the dogs disappearance but did not hurt the dog.
