Saraburi – A young convenience store clerk tells her story, ” bullets were flying everywhere she said, it was crazy! “police were shooting at a car full of cartel suspects, “people were hiding everywhere, behind cars, walls, counters, anywhere not to get hit in the crossfire’. The police were chasing the suspects on Lop Buri Road right in front of her convenience store.
Police Narcotics officers continued to chase the suspect who was transporting narcotics. The criminals continued to shoot back at the police while trying to escape on Lop Buri road until police shot the suspect’s tires in which the car had then lost control and flipped at high speeds of 115 km into a canal and drowned.
The car was lifted out of the canal and brought it to Chaloem Phra Kiat Police Station where they counted the bags full of marijuana.
There were a total of 15 bags of marijuana weighing 40kg each.
