Dozens of long -tailed macaque drown in water tanks

A tragic event occurred when a group of macaque monkeys or long-tailed macaques fell to their deaths into two old water tanks on the top of Tang Guan. Villagers from Songkhla heard unusual cry’s coming from the water tanks, and rushed to see what was happening.

they had found that a large number of monkeys had fallen into the water tanks and drowned, although they were able to lower a tree branch to rescue at least 30 of the monkeys.
