A good week at the office for Narcotic officers shutting down 4 major drug networks

At 10:00 am on June 9, 63 at the Narcotics Suppression Bureau announced the results of the suppression of 4 major drug movements with 200 kilograms of marijuana. 40,000 tablets and seized a large amount of property.

The first case is the result of the defeat of the Battle of Phairi 63/13. “BLACK SASHIMI” has arrested Mr. John Charles Ume or Frank, a Nigerian and Mr. Chatchawan Roj, a 21-year-old doctor with a total of 11 Thais and foreigners. People were charged with the possession and illegal sales of methamphetamine and other drugs.  A total of 5,200 amphetamine pills, ice 701 grams, E, ketamine, and cocaine.

There are many Thais and Africans in Thailand who are procuring narcotics by importing E-medicines from European countries who in return sell to Thais or tourists at entertainment venues. They are also known to use Thai women to traffick drugs. Thes large drug networks have been under investigation by Japanese authorities as well who is working closely with Thailand on this case. to networks in Japan.

In the second case, authorities arrested Mr. Wachira Wongsakorn, Wan Ko Saeng,  and Colonel Air Chief Marshal Suwat Panthang with 500 kg of Ice, 100 kilograms of heroin, and 2 kilograms of ketamine. The total drug value is over 250 million baht. After the arrest, the suspects were detained at the Chumphon Vehicle Checkpoint.

A large network of drug dealers operated in ​​Rayong Province, who smuggled the drugs from the northeastern borders through Nong Khai province to hide in Samut Prakan Province where they would wait for their customers from  Bangkok to pick up. Those customers would then deliver to many other suburbs including Songkhla province as well as export to other countries.  After the arrest, the authorities expanded the seizure of assets worth over 42 million baht, consisting of 2 houses and land, 1 condo, and 7 cars.

In the third case, authorities arrested Mr. Bundit, Kung Uui Thong, 37 years old, and Mr. Kriangkrai Ban Saen, 32 years, with bricks of marijuana weighing 200 kilograms that they had inside a white Chevrolet pickup truck. They were charged with evading the police as well as possession of marijuana with the intent to sell. Police arrested the suspects traveling outbound at a checkpoint on Phahonyothin Road, they were on their way to deliver the drug in Chonburi province. 

In the 4th case, authorities arrested Mr. Chisnupong or Oonlai Thong, 49 years old, and Mr. Iserech or Otmee Suay, 50 years, with 40,000 amphetamine items inside pickup trucks. They are both charged with possession of narcotics and intent to sell. They were both arrested on the side of Asian Road, in Muang District, Sing Buri Province after investigators watched the suspects drop a box off on the side of an Asian road, police searched the suspect’s vehicle as well as the box to find massive amounts of amphetamines.

Mr. Chisanuphong also had an arrest warrant for the possession of ice, police took him into custody and plan to take him to Nakhon Sawan Provincial Court in Nakhon Sawan. It was a good day of drug bust for Thailand.
