7 zoos to reopen today

Many Thais and foreign nationals have booked tickets online to visit Khon Kaen Zoo, which will reopen and offer free admission tomorrow until June 30 now that authorities have ended most Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. Natural Resources and Environment Minister Varawut Silpa-archa said on Friday that seven zoos could reopen, with no entry fees, until the end of the month.

The 7 zoos opening back up are:

1. Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chon Buri
2. Chiang Mai Zoo
3. Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo
4. Songkhla Zoo
5. Khon Kaen Zoo
6. Ubon Ratchathani Zoo
7. Elephant Nature Park in Surin
