18th June Police in Pattaya Chonburi rushed to a 7-11 after receiving word there was a robbery (food run) in progress. Mr. Thea Tai a 34 years old the 7-11 manager identified the suspect as a hungry 40-year-old Thai male who came into the convenience store to steal items like sausage, bread, meatballs, fish, and pork.

When the suspect approached the front of the store, the cashier asked to see his bag and instead, the suspect decided to run away only leaving his sandals behind. One of the staff quickly responded sliding over the counter and chased him all the way to the beach but the suspect dove into the sea and disappeared.

Police were then brought to the ocean where they last spotted the suspect, where they eventually saw him hiding behind a buoy.

Police then called marine rescuers to the scene who drove a boat after suiting up for more than 2 hours. To their shock, the sly suspect disappeared into the night again and was never found.

However, officials still searched for the suspect and they did find his bag of groceries which still had the sausage, bread, meatballs, fish, pork, and also a Pracha card (ID card) inside.

They later ran the ID to see who the person was in fact, the person in the  ID had a history of arrest but still not confident it was the same suspect from the 7-11 incident.
