Suspicious stinky package from Thailand evacuates post office in Germany
Thai durians caused pandemonium at a post office in a German town in Bavaria, sending six postal workers to hospital and causing the complete evacuation of the facility, according to a CNN report. The incident took place last Saturday at a post office in Schweinfurt, after staff noticed a pungent smell emanating from a package.
It happened at a post office in Schweinfurt, Germany when postal workers noticed one of the packages smelled different than anything they’ve ever encountered.
12 German postal workers complained of nausea were treated on sight and six were sent to hospital for testing.
Six ambulances and seven other emergency vehicles all came to the postal office after the everyone evacuated the building.
Later when authorites opened the package, they found four durian fruits being shipped from Thailand to ao a local resident in Nuremberg Germany. After the grand fiascal , the stinky fruit was finally delivered to its rightfull owner.
