On June 26 Deputy Superintendent and officers set out on foot to enforce social distancing and other rules recently announced by the Thai government.

They are continuing to patrol the tree town market area, Buakaw, Pattaya Nong Prue, Bang Lamung, province and other areas in Chonburi to ensure that visitors and businesses are following the rules. The Tree Town market has enhanced its preventive measures by putting up steel blockades to keep prostitutes from coming in and out unnoticed.  Anyone entering the market has to pass through a checkpoint entrance only.

Also, police officers have increased patrol to check out to protect women who will come out to sit and prostitute. As of now, it is still Forbidden for people to sit and drink alcohol in the area of the market but seems to be ignored by most.
