VIDEO Shows mother of 5-yr-old victim smacking one of the suspects before getting arrested
Tak Province police arrived at a horrifying scene early morning, July 4th at Muhajireen community in Mae Sot district, after being notified that a missing 5-yr-old Burmese girl had been found roped, gagged, and dead.
Hu Jina was a 5-year-old Burmese girl who disappeared from her aunt on the 3rd of July at around 7 pm. Hu Jina was last seen playing outside in the evening when a witness saw Hu Jina’s uncle Sarim take her away and later return to the house without her. That’s when her parents, relatives, and neighbors all started searching for Hu Jina. Her body wasn’t found until early the next morning.
Hu Jina’s body was found dead with her hands and legs tied with a rope, her clothes were torn, and she had a piece of clothing stuffed in her mouth.
After she was found they called the Tak Province Police department who immediately closed off the area and began their investigation. Police blocked the area not allowing anyone in or out of the area until they found their suspects. It didn’t take long before they arrested three suspects.
Over a hundred Villagers stood and observed the scene at a distance for this could have happened to any of their children, they had hoped they caught the right perpetrators.
Tak Province police officers mobilize with suppression and investigation kits to conduct the autopsy of 5-year-old Mae. Now police are waiting for the autopsy report so they can match DNA.
As for Mr. Sarim, the prime suspect, He was convicted in Myanmar 7 years ago for rape but was later acquitted. He came to live with relatives, Mrs. Rahima, who rented him a room in Mae Sot close to Hu Jina’s home. Villagers say that Mr. Sarim has an addiction problem too and frequently uses drugs and is always causing stress.
Three suspects have been arrested while waiting for forensic test results.
Mae Sot Hospital has confirmed the girl had suffered internal injuries and bleeding.
