Three arrested with 1,199kg ‘ice’ and cow dung

A truck with almost 1,200 kilogrammes of crystal Methamphetamine hidded under the sacks of cow dung was towed to the Provincial Police Region 8 office in Muang district from Phun Phin district of Surat Thani.

SURAT THANI: Three men were arrested and 1,199 kilogrammes of crystal methamphetamine, or ice, in their possession seized by police in Phun Phin district of this southern province Saturday, police said.

The three men in the truck told police they were delivering sacks of cow dung, but during a search, the police found 30 black plastic bags hidden under the sacks of cow dung. The plastic bags contained a total of 1,199kg of crystal meth or ice with a street value of about 600 million baht.
