An unknown number of attackers shot and killed a man in front of the BAAC Bank (Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives) in Phatthalung. Police rushed to investigate the crime scene at 02.30 hrs. On 29 July.
Police officer Prasert Duang-iad, Roi-rover from Muang Phatthalung Police Station was the first officer on the scene in front of the Bank in Mueang District along with other officers and a medical team.
At the scene, an unidentified man was found dead, approximately 30yrs-old, wearing a black T-shirt, jeans, sneakers, a cap, and a mask. He was shot with a 9 mm gun in the body 7 times, one in the right leg, 3 shots in the face, 2 shots in the left arm, 1 shot in the right arm, and 2 in the right shoulder.
According to a physical examination, the only evidence found so far was over 40 shells, one pair of slippers, and two mobile phones. The crime is still under investigation.
