A 14 year old teenager in Sarawak disappeared for 6 days, found inside stomach of a crocodile.

Ricky Akkanya, a native of Sarikai, Sarawak, Borneo Malaysia Disappeared on the 26th of July after fishing in an area known to have crocodiles. Many search parties continued to find Ricky for 6 days but no trace of him was found.

Later, a suspicion was raised that the 14-year-old teen may have been dragged away by crocodiles. As a result, the  search tactics changed slightly, their new mission was to find an alleged culprit known as a crocodile aka Siamese crocodile which is critically endangered and already extirpated from many regions.

According to witnesses, relatives last saw Ricky with his aunt and two friends collecting nautilus down by the river where a 40-yr-old man named Jo Mi was dragged away by a crocodile.

This suspision was later confirmed on Friday (31 July), after the Sarawak Fire Department used bait to catch the crocodile and drag it to shore.

After catching the 4.7 meters long by 1.7 meters wide alligator they assumed had eaten the 14-yr-old boy, they began dissecting the stomach.

Inside the crocodile’s intestines, they did, in fact, find human remains along with the 14yr-old boy’s shirt which was confirmed by family members at the river.
