The suspect then ran into a nearby tapioca plantation on Ban Leum Road in Tambon Nong Bua where more law enforcement spread forces to encroach the area, they even brought the suspect’s mother to speak through an amplifier, but the suspect allegedly paid no attention and left the area.
Meanwhile, the hunt widened and police set up checkpoints along roads after local residents spotted an armed man on foot.
In the early evening, villagers from Khok Sa-Sa informed the police that the wanted man had come to wash off the mud and took clothes from them before disappearing into the forest again.
Authorities had been chasing the suspect for 4 days before they cornered him at his friend’s house in Kong District. They had him surrounded but the villain shot back in a 20-minute gun battle where he was eventually shot and killed by the Non Teng police force based out of Kong District.
