Udon InfoHot to very hot weather with thunderstorms, gusty winds and hail will likely occur in the North, the Northeast, the Central region and the East, the Thailand Meteorological Department forecast today (May 11), as a high-pressure system from China is expected to extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea while southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the area.

Udon InfoThunderstorms with isolated heavy rain are likely across Thailand as the southwest monsoon prevails, the Meteorological Department said today (May 19), adding that people should beware of the severe conditions. In the South, there will be continuous rainfall and isolated heavy rain.

Hot weather with thundershowers in some areas for upper Thailand

Udon InfoThe Thailand Meteorological Department said on Saturday (May 16) that a thermal low covers upper Thailand while the southerly and southeasterly winds blow in with humidity.
Hot to very hot conditions with thundershowers and gusty winds are forecast for the Northeast, the East, Central, and the lower North. People should beware of severe conditions.
In the South, the southeasterly winds across the Gulf bring continuous rainfall.
The department also said that the tropical storm “Vongfong” over Philippines is moving northwest with no effect on Thailand.
