Eager Muay Thai Boxers Kick Obstacles In the Face–VIDEO

Covid-19 temporarily shut down many Muay Thai boxing camps and it’s taking a bit longer than expected for the competition to start. The delay is a direct result of a lack of funds that pay the expenses needed to reopen and operate the training camps.

Eager boxers are ready to start fighting so they can start putting food on the table and without prize money, there’s no money honey. But there is still hope, some camps have remained active while other camps continue to slowly open so that boxers can practice and get back into shape for the heavily anticipated fights.

Despite these obstacles, and if the Thai government continues to allow them to fight, the show will go on!

Sarach Yooyen Added to BG Pathum’s Roster for 30 Million Baht–VIDEO

Today Sarach Yooyen, Thai national team midfielder was added to the roster for BG Pathum after moving from Muang Thong United for a fee of approximately 30 million baht.

For the past week, there were rumors that Sarat was thinking about making the move from Muang Thong. While many other football clubs also had an interest in Mr. Yuyen, he finally decided to become a new player for BG Pathum which was officially announced at the Leo Stadium.

Sarat will get shirt number 6 in honor of Amnat Kaewkiew, the former legendary defender of the team.

Additionally, Sarach will receive 5.5 hundred thousand baht per month. This is more than what the captain of the Muang Thong team gets. This move will make the team’s midfield much stronger.

In the Thai Leagues’ last 4 matches, BG Pathum has done a great job collecting 10 points and staying in 4th place.

Thai Football Association Suspends League Play Due to COVID-19

UDFC has posted the nes that league play has been suspended due to the Coronavirus situation. Here’s the announcement:

The Football Association of Thailand announces that Thai League 1-4 will be postponed starting on the 3rd of March 2020 – 17th April 2020 in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Health in efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19

The government has announced to postpone all sporting activities that include the gathering of many people, whether it be sporting events, concerts or theatrical events to prevent the spread of COVID-19

In accordance with government policies, Thai League 1-4 and domestic cups will be postponed starting on the 3rd of March to the 17th of April 2020 and will start the competition again on the 18th of April 2020

Moreover, if there is a need to postpone the competition again there will be an announcement by the 31st March 2020

As for national team competitions will be confirmed again after the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) makes a final decision with Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) on guidelines and measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19
